Naturalist4Hire LLC is a network of local environmental science education and outdoor recreation professionals who are committed to creating a future where the Greater Sacramento Region's ecosystems are sustained by a public that understands and values the social, economic, and environmenal benefits they provide to our community, our nation and the world.
Our Purpose: To promote the importance of nature.
Mission Statement: To ignite curiosity and to inspire awareness, appreciation and understanding of how to properly use and respect our soil, water, woods and wildlife through outdoor recreation, environmental science education and eco-tourism programs and activities.
Our Goals:
- To provide environmental science education, outdoor recreation, cultural and historic learning opportunities for youth and adults and to increase public awareness and understanding of the role that our natural environments play in our lives, and build the skills and commitment needed to conserve and sustain them.
- To develop public/private partnerships that provide greater choices of environmental science education opportunities and assist school districts/teachers in identifying funding options to ensure their ability to provide such environmental science education opportunities to their students.
- To promote an economically and ecologically sustainable society by facilitating strategic alliances between Professional Environmental Educators, the educational institutions and resource locations of environmental interest.
